Specimens 2 (1 in the core collections)
Die-links 1–2: same obv. die as 2875/1, 2890/2.
Note Both specimens appear cast but probably derive from a genuine original. The scene is copied closely from medallions of Lucius Verus of AD 165 (Gnecchi II, no. 39 (pl. 75, 8-9). The date is illegible but the obverse die-link makes year 6 plausible. Year 7 has types of Nike galloping over fallen foes, but the obverse type here is not recorded for year 7. The reverse type recurs under Caracalla – possibly also on a cast.
